Setting up a Mailchimp account and integrating REEL.REVIEWS

If you don't currently use a CRM or Email manager, you're in the right place.

Read ahead for a how-to guide on creating a Mailchimp account and then automating your video testimonials.

These steps should take less than 15 minutes to complete.


Step 1: Create a Mailchimp account

  1. Head to this link to Create your Mailchimp account.


Step 2: Connect your website to Mailchimp

  1. If you haven't already done so in step 1 head here to connect your website to Mailchimp.

  2. If you have, great! You can move straight to Step 3.


Step 3: Create your Automation

  1. Click Automations on the menu bar and then click Customer Journeys.

  2. Click Create in the top right corner and then click Classic Automations.

  3. Go to the E-Commerce tab and select Follow up on purchases.

  4. Name your campaign (can't think of one - use REEL.REVIEWS request) and then click Begin.




Step 3: Edit Trigger

  1. Click on Edit next to trigger.

  2. Decide how many days after conversion you want the Email to be sent (we recommend 7-14 days after they've converted).

  3. Click Update Trigger in the top right corner.




Step 4: Design your Email

  1. Click Design Email.

  2. Fill out the details including adding the Subject from the collect tab in the REEL.REVIEWS dashboard (make sure to replace *INCENTIVE* with whatever you've chosen).

  3. Click Next.

  4. Scroll down to Basic and select the 1 Column template. Then click Next.

  5. Fill out the Email and make sure to add the Email Copy (from the collect tab) - remember to replace *INCENTIVE*.

  6. Click Save And Continue

Step 5: Start your Automation

  1. Click Next.

  2. Click Start Sending and you're good to go!
